What a school raffle ticket must have
- A unique consecutive number — on both halves. In NSW this is what legally makes it a raffle, and it is what lets the treasurer reconcile sales afterwards.
- A stub for the buyer’s name and phone — the half that goes in the barrel.
- The organisation’s name, the price, the prize and the draw details on the ticket.
Why the template route hurts
Numbering three-to-a-page in Word means a mail-merge data file and an evening of fighting it. And there is a trap nobody mentions: lay tickets out 1, 2, 3 down the page and the guillotined stacks come out interleaved — pile one reads 1, 4, 7, 10… Someone then hand-sorts thousands of tickets back into books. Every school that has done it remembers.
The template that numbers itself
The Studio is, honestly, the template: type your raffle’s details once, and it produces the A4 PDF with consecutive numbers on both halves, stubs, covers, cut lines — laid out so the piles come off the guillotine already in order. The free account prints 60 real tickets with your school’s name on them, which is more than any template gives you before lunch.
